Camping Guidelines

1. You must be a FEFC member family to camp.

2. You should only bring your own children. No minor guests with other families.

3. Children are under the supervision of their parent or legal guardian. An adult over 18 should be with minors at all times.

4. An adult preferably a parent should be designated to be in charge with oversight authority during campfire, or other group activities. It is a very good idea to have two adults present for protection of the adults and minors. Two deep leadership protects the adult member and child member.

5. Members must not haze, harass, intimidate, stalk, objectify, entice, or tease each other. We must treat each other with respect, compassion, and honor at all times.

6. Minor boys and girls must never share (or be in) the same tent, cabin, tarp, or other sleeping area, unless they are siblings. Boys and girls must not enter the tents of the opposite sex. Sleeping areas must be supervised by adults. No youth will sleep alone set up away from the rest of the goup. We must camp within the boundaries of our pioneer area.

7. Minor boys and girls may engage in all activities together, with direct adult supervision. Boys and girls must not be alone together. All boys and girls must be observable at all times. Boys and girls must not touch each other in any inappropriate or questionable manner.

8. Members should dress appropriately. Observe the FEFC dress code. You can find these on www.fefconline.com

9. No one may enter the bathroom area of the opposite sex at any time. There is one building with toilet facilities for Women and Men. These bathrooms are shared with other campers. Minor toddler, preschool and younger elementary members may go to any restroom with their direct parent or guardians supervision.

10. Observe the rules of the State Park https://southcarolinaparks.com/rules-regulations

11. As a reminder when you join Family Education for Christ you agree to our Liability Waiver. Family Education for Christ's reputation is important to maintain. The manner in which we or our children conduct ourselves is noticed and judgements will be made based upon what is seen or heard.  Members are expected to supervise their children.
